i wouldn't panic just yet. In the recent Toy Fare magazine they did an article about the upcoming Universe toys. Hasbro's Bill Rawley says they plan on continuing Universe. Hopefully they don't take too long after Revenge of the Fallen leaves theaters.
But i must say, although i wasn't hardcore into the movie toys, they did help bring the Transfomers back into the spotlight and made Hasbro alot of money. This in turn helped the brand over all and allowed the Classics/Universe to return.
It sucks for those who enjoy non movie Transformers, but from a business standpoint it makes sense. But if you don't like the movie stuff, think of it this way, your wallet gets a rest.
