I am glad you document this scale and era in toy collecting like this T.A. This whole thread with its many contributors over time, is a real gem of a tiny corner of the internet. A big thank to you and to EVERYONE that contributes and shares to make this awesome thread thrive.
I actually had no plans on using either for their intended characters. I got the Groot to add as a Huorn to be led by Treebeard. I like the look of this particular Groot for that purpose. The Rocket ended up being an amazing figure. Probably one of my favorites at the moment and would like to get about 5-6 more for a couple customs I want to do. This one will end up being Star Fox.
I took some more pictures of Rocket to show his articulation. And I have to agree with you about how awesome this thread is. I'm a huge fan of the 1:18 scale and sometimes it hard to visualize how figures compare to each other even when they are technically the same line and scale.
