I can't seem to find any info on this toy anywhere on the net. I keep getting sites of a 1970s toy, but this is from the late 40s.
My sister in law had it when she was a baby. There looks to be two patten number, and it says "Made in the USA"

I can find little info on JH Wright.... some hits on iron toys... but this is celluloid ...
The toy is similar to the Fischer Price 70s Rub A Dub Dub, Three Men in A Tub... just older. (Maybe produced after 14 year patent expired - seems to be about right?)
The faces on the guys are pretty creepy! lol Would scare a kid! lol You can see the man in black has a lot of scratches on his face/ o/w good condition. Each of the men have a "ball or B B" in them to rattle a little.
On the bottom of the tub (difficult to see in the pic) is the nursery rhyme....
"Rub a dub dub, three men in a tub - And who do you think they be -
The butcher, the baker the canblestickmaker -
Turn them out knaves all three.
There is a patten number, and it says "Made in the USA"

Anyone know anything about this? Is it worth anything? Or off to Goodwill?
Thanks
