Yeah. It's funny how that's only a complaint when people don't want to like a movie. Anyone who still can't get over comic book movies making changes here and there should hate the MCU just as much. Spider-Man Homecoming included, even though I'm sure the changes will be ignored and the movie will be loved, make millions, and be hailed the best Spider-Man movie since Spider-Man 2 (which it is, btw, just got back from seeing it. I think anyone with hang-ups still about the Vulture's movie look will give them up real quick).

First Class, Age of Ultron, The Winter Soldier, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse just to name a few that did not stick directly the source of material, but in my opinion all worked as films. Spider-Man: Homecoming is absolutely great, and it shows us what can be done in a healthy working relationship. Put egos aside, know your audience, have a plan, and tell a "Spectacular" story.
