This said, I just don't
get
these designs (not NECA's fault, but the movie makers'). What's with those laughable munchkin xenos anyway? I hope against hope there is a logical explanation in the film. However, after the visually stunning but otherwise stupid and deceiving
Prometheus
, I highly doubt there is one.
I'd rather have a proper sequel to
Alien

Aliens
(I actually was excited for Neill Blomkamp's idea!) than a prequel trying to explain the origins of one of cinema's most mysterious and terrifying creature ever. It's the principle of a magician's trick: the awe of magic remains until it is explained, and then it's too late to go back.

So glad his trash is cancelled, Assembly Cut forever.
Alien, Aliens, A3 are all near the same level IMO.
There are things to appreciate in Covenant.
The rest are pretty much trash.
The idea of resurrecting gerriatric Hicks, Ripley and Newt is a bad one.
Pure fanboyism nonsense.
As for Neca's figures- they look bloody awful, and so did the practical versions they were based on. The impossibly smooth and skinny Neomorph is a much superior design.
& They totally should've been cast in translucent plastic.
