My review of the Skurge and Enchantress 2 pack -
(Had to save this for a separate post. That last 1 was growing too lengthy!)
Enchantress looks amazing! Spectacular metallic paint apps on the arms, legs, crown and belt! Her face looks amazing, better than the prototype I would say (assuming you find one that isn't inbred). Hark, a face that actually resembles an attractive woman for once?!? What is this sorcery?!? She has good articulation, with the usual shoulder, double knees, ankle, and elbow. Simple swivel neck, which is ample with that wonderful hair job. She could have maybe used some wrist articulation, some magick accessories, maybe some better quality control on face paint. The lack of torso joint actually helps the sculpt and the look, I think. A vast improvement over the original release, and may I say, 1 of the top female figures in any of the Marvel 1:18 lines?
Skurge is just as he should be. We dreamt, salivated, bemoaned and cursed our creators, waited patiently, and we finally got this mofo and he pays off!! He looks like he is ripped straight outta the comics! Big and bulky, but not too big. His paint job is on par, looks great. Details on head, and armor (in metallic paint), are mostly flawless. He has articulation everywhere it counts (thigh, calf, double knee, rocker ankles, hinge and swivel neck, elbow, upper arm, shoulder) even at the waist. Which is kind of a waste ( ;} ), as his soft goods armor and skirt hinder that joint. But great for the customizers! The star of the show are his glorious hinge swivel wrists!!! If only these came standard from now on, in all the sizes necessary for each buck! They allow for the best double fisted battle ax wielding! Go to it ;P
Overall, I can say they are both excellent figures in the vain of our old, worshipped, well articulated favorites! What a relief! GET OUT THERE & SCOOP THEM!! You will be happy! You NEED these in your collection if you still give a flying fcuk about the line(s)!!! Need help? Holla!
