They are based on the Emperor Joker story where Joker and Myx went head to head with the DCU as their plaything. Art was based on Ed McGuiness. This set was basically a 2 pack because the normal figures that came out based on the Ed McGuiness art were very bulky and cartoonish. Since Joker was one of the only skinney figures and Myx is an imp, it came out about even. Go look at the Lex Luthor in armor figure and realize that he was the same price as this pack when it cam out.
