So I didn't see anyone address this for you, MUfan, but you don't really want to do this at all.

Given the difference in the two bucks you'd need to do more than just swapping red parts. Actually I'll put it like this instead....it's not going to work without the end result looking malformed all over the place. The two figures aren't comparable so any part swaps between those two and you'd have oversized parts from Hyperion on an undersized base from the DD figure. Hyperion's legs alone are not only longer than DD's but they are also thicker by a significant margin. You'd be better off just painting a lighter red right onto the red DD figure.

And as an FYI, the only way to get an upper torso off a lower torso (male figures, the female figures are easy to separate) is to split it. Otherwise you risk breaking the tab that holds the lower torso inside the two upper torso halves.
