Great post Robo, however, you might get accused of being an “internet tough guy” for voicing your opinion. Keep standing up to that nonsense.
Thanks friend! My post wasn't really targeted at the OP - just triggered by them. Their post wasn't particularly harsh - it just felt quite presumptuous. I've been a fan of Marvel Comics and a collector of Marvel Legends for considerably longer than the MCU has existed so to state as fact that the MCU "did a number" on me is nonsense. Is the fact I prefer my Hulk larger than the OP a fixation? No. A 'fixation with the size of a Hulk toy' is not on my list of mental conditions. Thank you.
To say "It is a fact that character X is Y height and Z weight." is bonkers, when you're talking about a fictional character. However, someone can say: "It is a fact that
a certain publication states
that character X is Y height and Z weight - and
I
choose to make
my
collection adhere to that as closely as possible." and it's a different story.
You want to talk height/weight of WWE wrestlers and how accurate their toy depictions are to their
real life physical forms
, go for it (not really appropriate for a Marvel Legends appreciation thread, but you get what I mean).
