Our friends and sponsors at
Big Bad Toy Store
have put up new official images of the Transformers 2010 Voyager Class Wave 4. Reveal the Shield, Hunt for the Decepticons or whatever else you want to call it, it doesn't change the awesomeness that are the three new toys in this assortment.
Strafe
, first revealed some time ago in Wal-Mart computers, has finally been revealed! He's a redeco of Revenge of the Fallen NEST Alliance Mindwipe, painted primarily in white gray and red in homage to Generation 1 Strafe, right down to the orange on his weapons. He'll also be a good color match for the recently released Sunspot who can connect to him (or Mindwipe) in vehicle mode.
Joining Strafe in this wave are
Solar Storm Grappel
aka Classics Grapple, who we have already seen is a heavily remolded Universe Inferno. The sole new mold in the assortment, and this news editor's personal favorite based on the images, is
Lugnut
! Lugnut is based on the Decepticon heavy muscle from Transformers Animated, but is given a more realistic Movie (or Classics) makeover. These pictures show he will be something special, with articulated fingers being evident, along with a full range of arm and leg articulation, but perhaps the most significant for those familiar with the Animated Lugnut toy - an articulated neck! No more need Lugnut fear an enemy attacking him from the side, because now he can look round and see them coming!
All joking aside though, check out our mirror of the new pictures of this extremely promising assortment of Voyagers by clicking on the title of this story.
