Oh, don't get me wrong...the figures look VERY well done, to the point that I would consider picking some up despite not being very familiar with the property. But as Joe said, $25 would probably be a price that would entice more casual collectors, but at $35 you're just going to get the hardcore Bucky fans and no one else. I think Boss Fight is pricing themselves out of potential sales.
It's like the GI Joe Collector's Club. The overall price of a subscription comes out to something like $36-$40 a figure (I'm not sure of the exact math). Hardcore GI Joe fans subscribe despite that price point because...well, they're hardcore GI Joe fans. But anyone who isn't sure as hell aren't going to dive in, especially at that price.
*EDIT* Wait, what scale are these figures? The review isn't clear (unless I missed it), and neither is Boss Fight's website. I assume they're in 4" scale, but if they're actually 6-inch figures the $35 is a bit more understandable. Anyone?
*EDIT #2* Found this review, where the height question is finally answered...they're right in the middle at just under 5 inches tall. Yeah...I still think they're overpriced for what they are, but I won't deny that they're great-looking figures.
