Just wanted to add that I think Marvel Legends are neat.

With probably thousands of super hero designs in comics culture at this point, large spaces of uninterrupted spandex are a bit played out. Deviations should be expected, but you are very much welcome to embrace tradition. The guy above me says he quit reading comics because designs became more intricate and everyone stopped wearing spandex. Now I think that's a bit nuts and it takes more than tight stretchy fabric to define these characters, but his point of view has merit because it's his.
I just know that I prefer what we have right now over this guy:
