My girlfriend really wants this figure...she's a huge fan of The Fog. Her birthday is next month, too bad this isn't going to be out in time for that.

That's on Randy...dude should be giving his audience what they're asking for. While a Fog figure is cool, I can't imagine anyone on Earth was actually asking for it, or Chop Top, or Iron Maiden, and so on. A lot of the Mego figures kinda reek of Randy making his own little pet projects, that's all. I bet if Randy was a big Thing fan a MacReady would sure as hell be made, no question.
I mean, you can't tell me that a Captain Blake figure would ever outsell a fucking MacReady, because it wouldn't. Like Joe said earlier in the thread, they can say The Thing is too obscure but The Fog or Re-Animator aren't?
BTW, I'm overjoyed that a Re-Animator Mego is being made, just to be clear. Herbert West rules.
