I suspect the problem with the Lizard wave may be because there is already so much SPD-coded legends clogging the shelves/inventory. I mean you can walk into a store and for the most part easily find the female Beetle...from two years ago!Sadly THAT wave is the overglut. Not the space venom or Sandman or Vulture BAV wave. I don't know how retail ordered that much of that wave that two years out we're still seeing more of that than four newer Spider-Man waves.

And sadly I think this will be a continuing problem, maybe not with this particular wave but Spider-Man in general. I get Spider-Man is their biggest character. And they want to have multiple waves/themes around him yearly. But something has to give, because it's become an issue with SPider-Man waves in particular for the last three years. Get your shit together Hasbro/retailers and figure out a way to allow new stuff to come in and get the old stuff out.

Not that this doesn't affect other themed waves of course, but Spider-Man is traditionally the worst hit. Unless of course you have 3 waves in one year of the same code such as what happened with the 3 Civil War waves because I think we can all agree the Abomination wave was rarely seen at retail.
