Okay so Wolverine, along with Spiderman, Iron Man, and Captain America, is one of the most commonly seen Marvel Universe figures. Not until recently have we actually seen a Wolverine "to-scale"(Team X with the atrocious face paint jobs in the latest...or the wave
readily
available now...I..have not seen the latest wave, and most likely won't for a while). Maybe the Wolverine in the Masterworks Sentinel set next year will be in-scale. Who knows.
Yet it's not like we are going to see Wolverine go away anytime soon. He sold well back when I was a child, and versions of him since then only increased. Hell Marvel even caught onto what Toy Biz was doing, and followed suit in the comics! What team
isn't
he part of?
So naturally, as collectors who want the best of the best, what would you want in a definitive Wolverine figure? Here are my suggestions:
in-scale with the other figures(...short like Team X/XMO Origins)
Claws that are separated like Marvel Universe
Thigh swivels like Marvel Universe
Clean paint job..face paint on Team X version is horrible
Vibrant paint bland
Wash is okay but not overdone
Ball jointed/swivel head like Extremis Iron Man
Released as a non-exclusive
