So first off, I'm not a toy collector.

I'm here because back in 1978-80ish, my mother bought some star wars figures for my brother and me, and for some reason had the foresight to leave them in the packages.

They've been sitting in a box ever since, and I figured I'd see how much they're worth.

You can see the whole collection in the attached picture. About half of them have squashed packages, or slightly bent/warped cards, and the other half are about as close to perfect as I'd imagine you can find.

So what would be the best way to go about getting these appraised and/or sold?
