These look much better than the Multiverse figures that are out currently...
They do seem like upgrades over their products from the past years but brace yourself because the final releases almost never look nearly this nice, mainly just regarding the paint-apps and face sculpting I mean. Every past convention I see what Mattel has on display and get real hyped but then by the time I actually find it at a store the quality is not on par with their convention prototypes. I'd really love it if Mattel finally broke their own chain and actually sold us what we're seeing now but it hasn't happened yet. All of the Dark Knight Returns figures for example looked sharp as hell and really well done when they were first shown but then in final release Joker is the only one who even came close to what was previewed. Just gotta be prepared for that to probably happen again. It's to be expected that what we see at shows will be more refined and detailed compared to the actual mass-produced release but Mattel has a knack for doing this more severely than Hasbro or other companies.
