[Nightwind]

I originally posted this on TFW, but realize that it's probably better suited for this site instead...

I love Swamp Thing. By far my favorite character of all time, I have a habit of buying any toy that gets released for him. The problem is that most don't do him justice as far as painting concerned. This is especially true for his Funko release. It's like the just gave up halfway through the paint process because he's only painted on the front with only a little bit of a wash carrying over to the back.

I sprayed the entire figure with Krylon flat black. All of the other paint used was Folk Art acrylics. He received a dark brown heavy dry brushing for the next layer, three different shades of green, custom mix for the eyes, and apple orchard green for foliage highlights.

I didn't include light box shots because I thought showing him off in nature would suit the character better.
