The MCU 10th Anniversary line is some of Hasbro's best work in years. The sculpts are more complex, and paint is improved greatly (they're finally getting the hang of that digital face painting), and I see they're using separate pieces for the hair across the board now, even for male characters. Plus, QC issues are (almost) non-existent, except for Ronan...if you look in the gallery, the dude's eyes are literally printed UNDER his eye sculpts. Wow, what a factory fuck-up, lol. Good thing I give no shits about Ronan.
That said, I was super-psyched when it was announced that we were actually getting an MCU Crossbones figure, and now that I have it in-hand, I think it's astonishingly awesome. I loved his design in Civil War and Hasbro did an amazing job at capturing every aspect of his complex design in action figure form. All the ammo clips and little tools on his shoulders are there, and his vest and especially his helmet look amazing, especially considering the scale. Yeah, his masked head is actually a tiny bit smaller than his unmasked head (nice Frank Grillo likeness!), but who cares? The figure is nonetheless stunning.
Also deserving of mention is the MCU 10th Yellowjacket figure. The villain of the first Ant Man movie was pretty fucking lame, but his suit looked fantastic, and it's another example of a complex design rendered perfectly in toy form, including his helmet and backpack with the articulated stinger arm thingys. Really jazzed to have Crossbones and Yellowjacket in my collection.
