My guess in regards to Hasbro is that they screw up, just so that they can improve and sell another version of the figure Jokes aside, my major gripe with Hasbro figures is that the faces, hair, and head placement is just too far behind compared to Japanese figures.

With Kaiyodo, I think the goal is to redesign to an extent while keeping the character still recognizable. I like their work in that sense. A little metallic paint, the exaggerated hair, the insane level of articulation (granted, here its a love hate relationship because the overall flow of the sculpt of the figure does take a hit here) and the ton of accessories.... I would take Kaiyodo any day. Speaking of which, I hope they did a good job with the upcoming Psylocke because I have that on pre-order
