No, that sounds perfect. Please keep that attitude, in this case especially. Don’t look up the show, the manga book series it is based on or the fandom. Just enjoy this as a nice knight-like adventurer figure.
I wish I could. But after I first saw the prototype of this figure I had to check out the manga along with the first episode of the anime. And if that wasn’t enough to turn me off I had to witness the reaction it caused among the disgusting side of the internet as well.
For me personally this figure is simply not desirable anymore, so whatever you do: Enjoy the figure as is, don’t bother looking up the source material. Better quit this thread while you’re ahead too, I know exactly what it will spiral into before poor Joe has to take valuable time out of his day too clear it and/or lock it for good.
If you ever feel like living under a rock with your decision in collection, let me remind you that in a good amount of cases it's a rock worth living under.
