Yeah, I don't know...sounds like you're trying to rationalize spending $60 plus on those figures. There's no reason they couldn't do this as a single figure release with swap out parts.
And most licenses ARE expensive and there's been a steady stream of Frazetta merch from small companies for the last 20 years, so that shouldn't be an excuse. I'm sure it isn't cheap though...I remember reading that you had to pay a fee in order to even pitch something to them(idk if that's normal or not) back when his wife was running the business.
Anyway, this seems like the sort of thing the Frazetta family are going to sell at their museum and con appearances. In those instances I can see my self picking one of them up, I think it looks cool still on the card.
