Personally, I don't want articulation up the wazoo if it's going to ruin aesthetics, but i concede that McFarlane's original Movie Maniacs were too statuesque. A dozen points of well-hidden articulation would suit me just fine. Hell, I'd take sculpted chest and hips over a fugly diaphragm joint and Neca's damn diaper crotch, any day of the week.
When they first came out, plastic statues were the rage, so it didn't bother me at the time, but now yeah more articulation, I'd also like to see a build a figure format, but that may just be me, the one thing I thought was cool was the creepy framed mini movie poster they originally came with.
