I remember when they were making Spawn back in the late 90's, the studio hated the full mask because they felt the audience wouldn't know when he was talking.

If I'm not mistaken, it came up again in V for Vendetta, studio's think so little of the audiences intelligence.

Then you've got actors wanting their faces to be seen, again, with V for Vendetta, Hugo Weaving was one of the only actors who didn't require a face reveal scene at some point in the movie.

Iron Man's interior helmet view solved a lot of that for Iron Man 1, but I think the technology allowing for "quick flips" and all the other elements, it's just the easiest way out to make the most number of people happy.

On a completely different note, it was my understanding that the moratorium on Endgame spoiler merchandise ended today, I was expecting to see some Marvel Legends news on that front.
