The issue isn't the gray for me. It's the face sculpt. It's too old. Many of the actors in the MCU are in or approaching their late 40's or 50's. You can look youthful in that age range. Affleck was 45 in Justice League, and they just lightly peppered his temples. His Bruce Wayne looked like he was good for a few more years as Batman.
This looks more like current Clint Eastwood or Robert Redford as Batman. He just looks TOO old. Nothing wrong with aging, but there is nothing right about swinging in to a crime scene and breaking a hip on your landing, and having to return to the batcave at 3pm to get ready for a 4pm dinner date.
