The Royal Selangor's Limited Edition Batman Figurine was launched at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con. It is a limited edition figurine, as only 3000 numbered units were produced and are available worldwide. Each Royal Selangor item is hand cast by pouring molten pewter into steel moulds quickly and efficiently. The pewter used by Royal Selangor is of the highest grade available in the world! After the cooling process, each pewter piece is polished and soldered onto other appendages such as spouts, bases, or and handles, and every step of it is done by hand.





The exquisite details shown on the caped crusader is courtesy of Malaysian sculptors Alan Quah and Mufizal Mokhtar who are artists highly respected by the international comics and collectibles communities, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment.




The figurine depicts a dramatically windswept cape that amplifies the Dark Knight's dominance, a detailed body armor that encompasses his body with the ever iconic Bat Symbol emblazoned across his chest.



Every last detail of the Bat is astonishingly accurate, including the fabric construction of his Kevlar armor, his utility belt, and the gargoyle vantage point that he stands on.







The statue stands at 8.3 inches high with a width of 6.5 by 9.2 inches, and it weighs three and a half pounds. The pewter alloy is made from 92% to 97% tin, and while other metal surfaces dull over a period of time, pewter does not tarnish or corrode easily. Instead it develops a pleasing subdued tone unique to the metal over time and with use.
