Last night I found the Walmart Jedi Luke and spirit Yoda which was a nice surprise since for the last month or so my Walmart hasn't had any Black Series figures.
This Luke has been up on the top of my wish list for the line since they got the face-printing running so when he was announced back around NYCC I was thrilled. In hand my main cons are that his hips are kind of loose (but only when standing straight) and that his elbows bending range is limited compared to modern releases since he re-uses a lot from the Death Star II Luke. Other than those remarks it's all good stuff. I like the choice of accessories in addition to his mandatory lightsaber with the skiff-guard pistol, decent fabric cloak (which is easily removed), and one of those triangle slipper bases. Overall I think it's pretty great except for the decision to make it a damn Walmart exclusive.
Force spirit Yoda is pretty basic and minimalist in approach but then again he should be. It's just a cool repaint of the standard Yoda without his lightsaber and snake. He's done very similarly to the Walgreens exclusive spirit Obi-Wan from 2017 and as such looks pretty nice when paired with him. They did use the face-printing and I think it looks even better than his Archives release. I think my big complaint here would be that his necklace piece is just cast in this black that clashes with the rest of his ghost vibes.
