I don't think there will be any impact on IW or Endgame but I'm pretty sure we'll see hints for other future Marvel properties. Several people speculate that we'll be introduced to future Thunderbolts. Personally, I'm hoping to see the introduction of mutants in the MCU (I ain't counting Quicksilver or Scarlet Witch) in the form of Ursa Major.

I'm not a fan of the Taskmaster's look either. Their decision to combine TM's classic look with a realistic aesthetic was a bad call. I mean goggles and a grinning skull doesn't work. Like you said, the Udon look would've satisfied the need for realism, yet still kept the character recognizable.
