So I finished opening everything and checking it all out.

Got too many Legends to say anything here, so thoughts on them in the appropriate thread.

This Godzilla is just a damn good repaint based on what was for me one of the coolest visual treats in the movie.

Got the shadow trooper movie realization back on Black Friday through Amazon for like $45. It's a very cool piece on its own which is good since it doesn't encourage me to dump money into building up a collection of these. The quality of the build is fantastic and the paint is good for what little there is. I personally don't care for the blaster included since it breaks away from the samurai motif everything else here is doing but that's my only con.

Black Series Wedge and Second Sister are pretty standard fare for the line. However, I did have serious QC issues with Wedge when his left foot was discovered to have already been broken in box. Thankfully Amazon sent over a replacement with no problems but bad QC is still bad. I think it would have been nice for Second Sister to have included an alternate unmasked head since she's a totally new character and seeing her without the helmet isn't a spoiler on its own.


Studio Series Soundwave and '07 Megatron are pretty great. It's nice to see them upgrading the paint quality on this line but Soundwave would have benefited from some blue accenting on his speakers.

Nabbed the siege Ultra Magnus for $30 on a random holiday sale and it's a nice G1 style figure that really recaptures the spirit of his original toy. He is a bit chunky in his fully armored form but it works.
