Got Legends Vulture and the McFarlane Superman at Walmart earlier today.
In hand I gotta say I'm liking this Superman figure. He's got some wonky articulation choices here and there but everything moves fine and he feels well made. The colors used pop pretty well and the paint apps are mostly clean. He does have some mild blurring at the transition from suit to skin around his neck but then his belt/underwear piece and 'S' logo are nicely done. Speaking of his 'S' I like the way it's sculpted and then done in a metallic red to distinguish it from the red on the rest of his costume, it's a modern take but it still feels classic. I'm not thrilled with his hand options included but he does have a nice stand for flying poses so that kind of makes up for not getting a closed right hand. Unrelated to the toy itself but I like that the back of the included card actually has a short bio and some basic information as opposed to just being blank on the other side. He's not perfect but considering I got him at Walmart for around $20 I'd say he is a cool toy and I am now more interested to see where McFarlane might go with the line, fingers crossed for a Mr Miracle and Big Barda two pack.
