I've never seen any of these movies, but doesn't Annabelle just, like, sit there and never move or change expression? Or do anything at all? But she gets an ultimate figure nonetheless? I don't get it.

Honestly, while the Conjuring movies do well at the box office, I personally don't think they have any staying power in terms of remaining in the cult scene or pop culture consciousness like Re-Animator has. In 20 years Herbert West will still be an underground horror icon, but I don't think people'll even know what the fuck The Conjuring or Annabelle are.
That said, I would buy the shit out of any West figure (I own the NECA retro 8" and even the fairly crude Re-Action-style figures that Amok Time put out), and I collect horror figures in general that I think look cool (even if I'm not 100% familiar with the property), but so far none of the Conjuring-related stuff grabs me.
