DC Direct has never had highly articulated action figures. If they wanted to do that they would never have had a deal with McFarlane
I was waiting for this one. DC Whatever They're Called Today and DC Films are both subsidiaries of a parent company (which was "the company" I was referring to, funny how everyone else but you figured that out) that has no f****** clue how to handle these properties. It's not illogical to assume the same stupid business practices trickle down to other divisions.
As for the rest of this:
1. McFarlane has proven in one wave they're just as bad. This might come as a shock to you, but as a DC fan, I actually own several Batman figures already.
2. Buying old Mattel figures off the Internet is not a particularly ingenious way to financially support a brand.
3. DC wouldn't have a problem selling other figures if they actually tried getting other characters over. Aquaman is the highest grossing film of all time based on a DC Comics character, one would think that'd be a good place to start.
4. Your rant about articulation has absolutely zero to do with anything I said, and as another commenter pointed out, is false. So I think it’s fair to say you have no idea what you’re talking about. What a surprise.
5. You can spell "merchandise" but can't spell "you". Wish I had noticed that earlier, wouldn't have wasted time on this.
