I've been a huge critic of the Mcfarlane figures from the beginning and I still hate the fact that there are no Build A Figures BAFs. But this is a serious improvement on the Mattel versions of these figures. This is definitely a serious upgrade. However, they aren't good enough to stand on their own, meaning there has to be an additional incentive (BAF) to buy every figure in the movie wave or they will sit and collect dust. Investing in a brand new line is expensive and I want to know it isn't going to end after a couple waves. This scares me because this is going to discourage future 6"-7" lines because people only bought . the figures they like instead of investing in the entire wave. I am befuddled as to how arrogant Mcfarlane is to think these figures can stand on their own as individual figures. It's mind boggling. These are better than Mattel for WW figures, but not enough to buy them both without a BAF.
