HISS Tank boards member japanX80 has shared images of his newly acquired
Wave 3 Desert Battle Snake Eyes
from the
Pursuit Of Cobra
line. Anyone notice that during the past few years,
Hasbro
seemingly releases a
Snake Eyes
figure that is collectively anticipated by the fandom? Last year it was
City Strike Snake Eyes
, and right when diehards seemingly swore off getting another Snake Eyes figure, Hasbro unleashed the prototype for the newest Snake Eyes figure at
JoeCon 2010
. Most fans were pleasantly surprised, however the unveiling was somewhat bittersweet. The fandom was collectively disappointed when it was stated that the figure would have a variant and that both heads would not be included. A collective sigh of relief came when Hasbro announced months later, that both heads would be included, with no variants.
So this figure has been shipping out to those of you who preordered it online, via our site sponsors. Both heads feature all new sculpts based on the iconic looks for Snake Eyes, with the commando goggles, and knight visor(similar to the way
Robert Atkins
draws Snake Eyes). In addition, this figure features a wealth of weapons or accessories, if you didn't like Snake Eyes as a ninja, bam, tons o' guns. If you liked him as a ninja, this figure comes with 3 swords. Liked him as a ninja commando? No matter what, you're all set with this figure. More images of the latest take on the iconic silent ninja commando, after the jump! Could a
Storm Shadow
made in a similar vein follow in 2011?
