The only thing I can think of is that Kickstarter does have a pretty wide reach and quite a large customer base that is always looking for new campaigns to back.
I am wondering the exact same thing...
I am also hearing some people say that they will not support the kickstarter but will buy if BBTS carries them, but also unsure what this means...
Also, yeah, super bad time for doing this.
