There’s no explanation why, other than a list of possible reasons.
Hasbro could very well be renewing the application or actually submitting one for the first time for that name. Or it could be for a fact that we are getting a new toy? We’ll let you decide…

On a similar note, our sister site HissTank reported a similar situation over at the G. I. Joe Franchise. Hasbro has applied for the trademark known as “Cobra C.L.A.W.”
