I don't love the direction some of the Dawn of X story is going, including immortal mutants, but there's no denying the whole thing is well-written and captivating. You're doing yourself a disservice if you're sleeping on it. A lot of the plot devices are hard to describe in a way that doesn't short-sell them, but work really well in the books. I don't like the overall situation because it paints the X-Men into a terribly unheroic corner of the universe that will be hard to escape from, but I have to believe there's a plan in place. Everything feels too well thought-out for there not to be.

That said, it would seem I have very different costume taste from some of you. I love so many of the Dawn of X costumes, and honestly think most characters look the best they've ever looked, but Storm, Jean, and Betsy are notable exceptions for me. I actually think the Jubilee-wave costume is Storm's best look, and I'm still holding out hope for armoured Psylocke. I'd love to see current Rachel, Xavier, Magneto, or Wolverine, though!
