I feel like revoltech or something similar is the only thing that could properly emulate multiple dynamic posing options for Spawn’s cape without it being just a static piece. If a third party company is listening PLEASE make it happen.
Interesting idea but I think majority of most, not all, collectors think negatively of a revoltech cape. I had suggested a few posts back that the cape should be layered, building off the concept of the original, a main central cape that covers the shoulders, much like the MK11 scuplt and either a larger cape or 2 segments like wings for manipulation when its extended. I've thought of possibly the use of metal wire and magnets to help create some dynamic cloak/cape geometry, securing the wing pieces to the main. The general concerns for all these ideas is durability and longevity (loose wires and joints, dust, paint rub, stress marks).
Anyways, happy to see we get the painted sword, interesting how it played along with the MK11 Spawn 2nd wave edition does not have the sword but a mace? Since we're in the homestretch and small updates, would be great if Todd announces that the necro-effects though clear have a glow in the dark application. Would be awesome if some of the unmasked heads have the same glow in the dark effect for their eyes but retaining the neon metallic bright green for it to pop naturally. But think its set and overall as an improved anniversary retro, its excellent. Hope the shipping cost protects the whole package making this a memorable mint collectible item.
