When these first hit last year. My target kept them at the electronics counter and limited them to one set per person. After that they were in the actually neca section with no limit. I have found nothing since. Randy needs to figure out something different, because people will move on at some point.
Sounds like you had the whole 9 yards thrown at you. Mexican, check.....to tall.....check......imposing tattoos.....check and worst of all, toy collector.....not just any toy collector.....but the dreaded NECA toy collector. Even the employees at my stores.....whom have always been great are now getting tired of the turtles questions. The last time I was in and asked about them, the guy said he hopes the Neca section just goes away. This is not what should be happening.
Employees jobs are to help you and make sales by doing so. This employee not only failed at that, he singled you out for your heritage, your look and your purchase wants. I’d go right to the top on that one. Total crap, I get employees are under stress right now, and that the neca stuff causes more stress. Still unacceptable. When I hunt for neca turtles, it reminds me of the dark days of collecting, when target would hole punch hot items, had signs everywhere on limits and made you fell dirty buying a toy over the age of 8. Back when collectors would run to the hot wheels and mcfarlane sports, the old toybiz marvel legends and Star Wars. Let’s not go back there.
Randy, NECA, get this crap under control and stop telling us it’s part of the hunt. It’s not 2003 any more. Media play, gone.....suncoast video, gone......Sam goody, gone.....Kay-bee toys,gone.....toysrus, gone....hills, gone....Kmart, gone.....you get the idea. Get with the freaking times and get a preorder on targets site! Enough of this.
