NECA’s entire Godzilla library was in the 6-Inch scale. The main reason is because that was the scale they were allowed to make in the licensing agreement with Toho and it was also likely to entice more Kaiju collectors to buy their versions of Godzilla since it would be in the same scale as S.H. Monsterarts and other popular Kaiju toy line.
NECA’s 24-Inch head-to-tail Godzilla Interestingly enough was also technically scaled to their Pacific Rim line based on it’s height in the film compared to the height of the Kaiju and Jaegers of Pacific Rim.
7-Inch scale is NECA’s bread and butter hence why Kong is and if they completely had their way I doubt their Godzilla line would have been made in the 6-Inch scale.
