That is the introduction we were told of the upcoming second prequel comic book series to Transformers 3; Transformers: Foundation. After that IDW kept everything a secret and it so happens that they even took down the entries from the newsletter as well as not publishing anything about it in their February Newsletter.

But, Comixology revealed that Transformers: Foundation issue #1 will arrive on 22nd December, 2010 and issue #2 is to release one week after the Transformers: Rising Storm debut, on 12th January, 2011.

Transformers: Rising Storm is the 3rd prequel comic book series to Transformers: Dark of the Moon and is considered as the prequel comic that will immediately drop off the readers, moments before the third movie plot (Just like what happened for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with the prequel comic Transformers: Alliance issue #4).
