this is my third custom deckard in three years and the reason im posting pics of all three is to highlight how good tutorials are and show my progress over that time period. my first deckard was my first ever custom fig and started as a result of a close relative falling seriously ill and i needed a distraction from what was going on. i found painting my little orange monstrosity relaxing and calming, and so my love of customizing and painting began. i originally thought it was the "best custom ever" lol and was gutted it didnt get a the response i thought it deserved but i soon found tutorials on custom and fan sites that would help a novice wee customizer get better. the reason for my wee rant is simple, everyones first custom is not going to be amazing so dont feel disheartened if you dont get the response you wanted. there are plenty of good customizer willing to give good and hepful advice, so dont be scared to ask. with places like slayer design, hunter artworks and broken arrow you can get amazing stuff that you could only dream of. thanks for reading my wee rant.
