About the Dooms and with the caveat that everyone can want whatever they choose to, I'm personally none too interested in either the 2099 Doom nor Secret Wars Doom. The Secret Wars Doom design - post power grab - just wasn't very inspiring and even Zeck himself didn't seem too engaged in making it look interesting or ornate in any way. I get the nostalgia revolving around one's childhood for the 2099 designs, but, with the exception of Miguel, none of those looks became iconic, with many of them altering from book to book in many cases. Numerous 'looks' of the angsty 90's drew eye rolls even before the end of the decade. I don't hear many calls for Dedato's glam-rocking exposed midriff Thor. But, hey, Members Only/Chippendale Havok turned out better than I thought it would despite the two-pack warming a bit on pegs.
I recall En Sabah, or maybe someone else mentioning God Emperor Doom, which I could see my way to accepting into my collection as (at least) an interesting design ala Iron Man Doom. That said, I'd much prefer some other character in the spot of what would be the fourth (?) Doom in a year and a half. If Doom is being added for 'recognition' or 'sell-through' they may as well add some obscure unrepresented villain because, following the failed cinematic FF attempts, most casuals don't know who Doom is either.
Use the spots to deliver glaring fan omissions like Count Nefaria and Graviton - these characters are pretty easy and necessitate only minimal extra tooling to existing base bodies. Or go left field with someone like Over-Mind. Filling spots with another Supreme Hydra and Doom smacks of squandered opportunities.
