Granted, Deathstrike is much needed and I won't complain there at all. It would have just been nice to see maybe one more never done before, but we do still have the BAF.
Eventually Count Nefaria and Graviton will get their day, I'm sure. They're only gaining traction in wishlists.
As it is, if the rumors are true, that's only Deathstrike for me for this wave.
It 'makes sense' to me as well and I also get it. However, I just don't see feeding pangs of nostalgia for Mattel's Secret War line as potentially more lucrative than delivering on relatively routine villain requests. Anyone who knows enough about Marvel's characters and former toy lines that recognizes the nuance of Doom's Secret War duds is also someone that would likely be equally excited by Nefaria or Graviton.
I'm no corporate project manager, but I don't need to be one to be of the opinion that inclusions of this nature (if true) represent misfires. With the addition of some of the usual suspects (Nefaria, Wizard...insert whatever bad guy with multiple mentions) a one or two spot retail pick-up could easily shift into 'all in' on this wave for many of the very same people pining for Secret Wars Doom.
