I agree on some of this but Brian said the steel mold alone costs $450,000. Super7 needs to sell 1,000 of these just to pay for the mold. Add in materials, wages, shipping and other costs...unless super7 sells way over 2,000 like almost 3,000....there is not much profit...if any.

Those cars for kids to ride are so massed produced and share so much tooling....I remember in the 80s the ones my brother and I had were $40. He had big foot. And that was the cost of the ghostbusters fire house then.
