My grandfather, whom passed away at age 95 in 2019 was a great inspiration to me. I remember one time I was talking to one of the older farm workers, who lived in Alabama for sometime, and I listened to him for 2 hours. I never spoke. Talking to each other, listening to each other is amazing. I find every single person on this forum to be unique and love all the different ideas from toys to movies and in between. I never block anyone, because I always want to read thoughts on subjects.

You would be surprised how much we all have in common, just by listening.

See, now, this is true and why a good thing for white folks to do in the wake of BLM is to maybe just shut up and listen for a change. Maybe if more middle-class/poor white folks would listen to middle-class/poor people of other ethnicities &etc, they'd discover they actually have more in common with them than they do rich white folks/rich folks in general. They try to keep us divided along racial, religious, cultural, sexual and gender lines so we don't notice the real harmful division is an economic one between the rich and the rest of us.
