I run a thread similar to this over at actionfigurenews.ca, so most of you already know what this thread will entale, and to be honest, isn't the title pretty straight forward?
Anyways, have some interesting little news tidbits from the world of DCUC that I came across today, so sit back and enjoy!
1) According to an interview conducted with MattyCollector on the 15th of December here at ToyArk.com, Mattel is planning on rereleasing DCSH Mr. Freeze in a deco they claim has yet to be seen....
Here is the question and answer given by Mattel during the interview...
Q: The DC Superheroes Mr. Freeze figure is arguably one of the best figures from the DCSH line. Is it beyond the realm of possibility to see this figure repainted for the DC Universe Classics line(maybe in a Super Powers inspired deco)? It is a great figure that most newer fans missed out on.
A: We do have plans to reissue this figure in time. As to what deco, that remains to be seen!
Canada recently started receiving shipments of the popular MOTU Vs. DC 2-packs and according to the MattyCollector forums, a series of 6 are currently in the works. According to Mattel:
Ww have a total of 6 new packs in the works including the Hawkman vs. Stratos and Merman vs. Aquaman packs out now.
The next pack will be revealed in the Jan shipping issue of Toy Fare and it will involve characters with guns.
Does this mean we'll see Deathstroke or Vigilante (Adrian Chase) in the next line? Only a short time until the pictures are revealed!
And, just as an interesting sidenote, MTV recently released their list of the best toys for 2010 and C&C Darkseid made #9!
The Top Ten Toys of 2010 » MTV Geek
Anyways, that's all for now, thanks to MattyCollector and MTV for sharing!
