First Question: what En Sabah Nerd said, it varies depending on the item and depending on the stores.

As for shipping, even if I only want 1 item, I order 2. Free shipping over $35, and when you get it, you have 30 days to return the extra one. I have several Gamestops nearby that I go to every once in a while anyway, if that's true for you too that's one way to get around paying for shipping for 1 item. Not to mention if you're a MIB collector, this gives you a pick on which one to keep.
