Got my Last Knight on Earth wave in from Dorkside. It's technically the wave of 4 figures (plus Build-a-Bane), but getting them all at once like this kind of feels more like a box-set which is neat. My main gripe with the set is that Wonder Woman's sword is really thin and soft so out of the box it was very warped, it can be easily straightened out but by comparison both of the swords with their Geralt figure were nice and durable. My other complaint is that Omega has a right grabbing hand but no accessories to hold, Darkseid's head on a spike would've been a good inclusion for that. Other than those two notes though I really enjoy having these figures. Overall I dig Capullo's designs here for post-apocalypse Diana, Arkham patient Batman (the Joker head-lantern is freaking great), and Omega (whose figure particularly feels like the art brought to 3D). However, for some reason I really kind of love this corpse-like Scarecrow acting as Omega's preacher paired with a grey-skinned inhuman Bane who says all of two words. Speaking of Bane, this hefty guy was kind of a pain to put together. I had to use a hairdryer to connect everything except for his head and hands. For me the legs actually went on kind of easily and stayed solidly connected, but for whatever reason I had some difficulty getting the damn shoulders plugged in so finally hearing those "pops" was satisfying. Once complete though he's definitely a nice imposing figure and I'm hoping later we see most of this re-used for a normal version of the character since a number of the design elements for this figure aren't taken from Last Knight on Earth as much as they're just kind of "regular" Bane parts.
