The villains look great. The Hawks themselves... they're OK. I don't like that the wings/wing-arms are just solid pieces- that really limits the posing options with the wings on. For this price, we should be able to put them in more action-oriented flying poses, or with wings out but arms down at their sides, not just a normal in-flight pose. I also don't trust their quality control enough for the human faces to buy them sight unseen- I could see some of them looking great, and some of them having issues. With very simple facial features like this, the paint jobs on the faces have to be extremely accurate and on-point. If I see the two heroes at a toy show for regular price or close to it, where I can check out the paint job, I might buy them, but I don't think I'll take the pre-order gamble.
Buzzsaw looks great. I loved the toy as a kid, and if he were in the bright green toy colors he would be an absolute must buy. There's a good chance I'll still buy him, though. Mon-Star is the only definite buy for me. Do I wish he was cheaper? Sure, but he looks great, Mon-Star's design is relatively simple, but extremely badass. If they do Mo-Lec-U-Lar, Melodia, Poker Face, Yes Man... those would all be must-buys for me. This may end up being a line where I mainly buy the villains.
